Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR is one of the most effective, evidence-based treatments for trauma and it doesn't require you to talk through every detail of what happened. Using bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements, EMDR helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their emotional charge. But it's not just about the memories themselves, trauma often leaves behind negative beliefs about who we are. Things like "I'm not good enough," "it was my fault," or "I'm not safe" can get stuck and start shaping how we see ourselves and move through the world. EMDR helps shift those beliefs so they no longer run the show. I'm EMDR trained through EMDR Consulting, and it's something we can explore as part of your treatment if it feels like the right approach for you.
Individual Therapy
Life doesn't always give us the tools to handle what it throws at us and sometimes the things we've been carrying for years start showing up in ways we can't ignore anymore. I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem struggles, relationships with others and with self, and life transitions. Using a combination of various approached, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Attachment Theory, I create a treatment plan that's specific to you and what you're going through. I also take a somatic, body-informed approach, which means we pay attention to what's happening in your body, not just your mind. Whether you're processing something from your past, trying to feel more grounded in your day-to-day life, or looking for practical tools to better manage what life throws your way — we'll work at your pace.
Couples Therapy
Relationships take work — and asking for help is one of the bravest things you can do together. I work with couples who are ready to break negative cycles, repair what's been hurting, and find their way back to each other. Whether you're engaged and want to build a strong foundation, healing from a betrayal, stuck in the same fight on repeat, or wanting to understand each other on a deeper level — I can help. Using a combination of therapeutic approaches — with the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy as core frameworks — I help couples build stronger communication, rebuild trust, enhance their physical and emotional intimacy, and develop healthier ways of working through conflict. Whether you're in crisis or just feeling disconnected, therapy can help you get back on the same team. I also offer discernment therapy for couples who are unsure about the future of their relationship and need a space to explore that honestly before deciding on a direction.
Parents of Neurodivergent Children
Parenting is hard, and parenting a child with ADHD, autism, or learning differences comes with its own unique set of challenges and joys. If you're feeling stretched thin, second-guessing yourself, or just wanting to better understand your child's brain and behaviors, you don't have to figure it out alone. In our work together, I help parents create structure and systems at home that actually work for their family, from daily routines to behavioral strategies that support their child's functioning and ease some of the everyday friction. We'll also focus on building more understanding and connection, navigating the hard moments with more confidence, and finding ways to support your child while still taking care of yourself in the process. This is a space for you, the parent, to feel supported, so you can show up the way you want to and deepen your connection with and understanding of your child."
