About Me
I'm a Bay Area native and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Oakland, California. I started therapy at a young age and experienced firsthand how transformative it can be which planted the seed for this career. The challenges I've navigated in my own life deepened my desire to use what I've been through to help others feel less alone in theirs.
Before pursuing my MFT, I spent four years working in behavioral therapy with children on the autism spectrum and their families. That experience shaped how I show up as a therapist today — it taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are.
Throughout my career as a psychotherapist, I've worked with children, adolescents, parents, families, couples, and individuals, and that range has given me a deeper understanding of how people grow and heal at every stage of life and within the context of their relationships.
I believe that for therapy to truly work, the relationship has to feel safe. That's why I continuously work to nourish the therapeutic relationship by building a space where my clients can be honest, open up at their own pace, and trust that they'll be met without judgment. I show up as my authentic self in sessions, I use humor when it fits, and I'm not afraid to offer feedback, new perspectives, or a gentle challenge when it's helpful.
Whether it's your first time in therapy or you've been doing this work for years, I strive to attune to what you need. I value meeting each client exactly where they are while supporting them in growing toward where they want to be.
I am an ally for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and actively engage in my own anti-racism work.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me traveling, crafting, spending time in nature, and being with the people I love, including Luna (my dog) and Bones (my cat).
